WTF is Kungfu Kids Online?
Pardon the language. I just thought it very appropriate for the question since I couldn’t find any reference to this new massively multiplayer online game that has just entered open beta phase in China.
The only reference on Google (and any other search engine for that matter) to the combination of words “Kungfu Kids” are about this television series that tell the story of seven kids of different personalities united by a prophecy from Philippine TV station ABS-CBN.
To shed light on this mystery, I turned to the announcement of China-based game publisher Shanda published online by 17173:
Shanda announced the open beta for Kungfu Kids, a kungfu combat game with a built-in avatar system. Kungfu Kids tells a story of some talented kids learning martial art, and fight for the victory in arcade combats. Along with the open beta, Shanda also updated the game with new series of weapons, making the fighting more exciting.
Darn, reading that just made me more confused. Don’t worry, folks, I’ll get to the bottom of this mystery soon.
Not to be confused with an online game with the same name.
