Granado Espada slips through my fingers

by Joel on February 21st, 2008

Al Quelt Moreza bosses

Well, not really. I just can’t play it at the moment. Let me explain.

I usually leave my Granado Espada family, The Estrangheros, in Al Quelt Moreza, a dungeon for families with members Level 7 to, well, 20-ish, after a hard day of playing another game, Perfect World.

This happens around, hmmm, five in the morning. Once my family is loaded, I leave them in the thick of things, battling monsters in Al Quelt Moreza. Since the three members of the team are in their 20s already, it’s perfectly safe to leave them in that dungeon.

Once the clock strikes seven, however, my anti-virus program does a sweep, making Granado Espada lag like crazy. That’s not the bad part. It’s actually the anti-virus program taking issue with X-Trap, the game’s hack protector.

It turns out X-Trap is being detected as a virus, a very dangerous Trojan. *Sigh*

I’m trying to find a way around this without dismissing the dangers posed by such a computer virus. After hours of searching, though, I’ve come to the conclusion that the virus alert should be declared as a false positive.

There’s a thread on this topic on the Granado Espada forums. So if you’re experiencing the same problem, I suggest you visit it. I just wish IAH, the game’s publisher in Southeast Asia, comes out with a clarification to shed light on what players should do … unless they want to lose subscribers.
