Woot! Florensia enters second closed beta

by Joel on April 24th, 2008

Double woot! I’ve been invited to Florensia’s second closed beta phase!

Here’s a copy of the invite:

Florensia Western Global: invitation to the 2nd closed beta

Are you ready for discovering a whole new world and the vast ocean? Florensia exclusively invites you to join the second closed beta which has started on April 18—all you have to do is sign up on our website and take part in our small contest.

To join the game, a beta key is required and you can win one by just answering the one decisive question:

What do you like about Florensia, why do you want to join the closed beta?

Sounds simple enough. Aside from wanting to write about this new online game, I also want to “Discover the Unknown,” being an explorer at heart. And discovery is exactly what the game promises, not only on land, but more importantly at sea.

Little is known about Florensia, except maybe for those who have played the game’s first closed beta. But here are a few facts that can help you decide whether Florensia is worth your while:

1. Florensia is free to play. Play it whenever and wherever.

2. Balance your character and increase stats exactly the way you like. There’s no limit to finding the perfect build.

3. In the navy. Florensia has an extensive naval system that not only lets you battle on land but also at sea. Needless to say, you can also build your own ship and hire a crew.

4. What’s an MMORPG without pets? Hatch and raise your pet as a valuable companion to fight your enemies.

5. Explore, explore! Discover new routes to seemingly forgotten places and meet your destiny on the open seas where dangerous monsters and dungeons await the brave.

Sigh. What else can I say but “Yes, I’d like to join Florensia’s second closed beta.”
