Florensia CBT slips through my grasp

by Joel on May 20th, 2008

Whew! What a nasty week! I won’t bore you guys with details; suffice it to say that I—and I guess a hundred or so Internet service subscribers in this little town—had a hell of a boring time with little or no Internet connection.

Well, as the title of this post has made clear, I failed to join the closed beta test, the third one I think, of Florensia, a new massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Japan-based Studio NJ and Netts, and published in Europe by burda:ic, which has obtained the license to release and operate Florensia in different parts of the world, except in Asia and the Pacific.

Oh, yeah, I managed to get my beta key validated, but the installer I downloaded didn’t work the way it was supposed to. Why? Well, maybe the shabby Internet connection and equally dismal download speed corrupted the installer. Hey, it has happened before, and it’s sure to happen again … and again.

Fortunately, my Internet connection seems to have stabilized. For how long, I really don’t know. For now, I have to content myself with videos of Florensia while waiting for the open beta and commercial launch.

Hmmm, kinda reminds me of Fly For Fun.
