Gravity opens doors to Requiem: Bloodymare
After a couple of months in closed and open beta, Gravity’s newest masterpiece, Requiem: Bloodymare, is finally ready for a grand debut—and we’re not talking about pink-themed, balloon and confetti-filled ballrooms.
Here are the details about what to expect and what not in what is perhaps the bloodiest massively multiplayer online role-playing game to hit the world market:
1. The pre-launch event will begin on June 16 at 7 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time, and will end on June 19 at the same time.
2. The commercial server will undergo maintenance immediately after the pre-launch event. When this is complete, Gravity will then open the game for everyone to enjoy.
3. The official launch, obviously, is on June 19, after the maintenance.
4. Don’t download the client—yet—if you’re not among the chosen few to participate in the pre-launch event. A new client will be made available later.
Awww. That means I won’t be able to enjoy the game ahead of everyone else. Haha.
Anyway, I’ve already registered an account. All I need to do is keep tabs on the Requiem: Bloodymare website to find out when and where I can download the client for the commercial phase of the game.
Oh, I’m not really worried about not getting into the game—it is, after all, free to play. With the large number of games, both online and offline, on my plate right now, it’ll be purely guerrilla tactics. If I like the game enough, I’d probably leave it installed and play it as often as my current MMORPG of choice, Perfect World.
