GONG! Let’s play online soccer
I know this is a little late in coming as the open beta phase in the Southeast Asian region is already in full swing, but as they say, “Better late than never.”
I’ll let mobiusgames do the talking:

Digital Media Exchange Inc., publisher of massively multiplayer online games like MU, Gunbound, EVE Online, Disney’s Toontown Online, and Rakion, announces an international team up with games developer Tose Shanghai to bring the most highly anticipated casual MMOG GONG! to the Southeast Asian gaming audience.
GONG!, which stands for Goal or No Goal, is an immensely popular casual game in China. It is now on its open beta phase, letting gamers from the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia play against each other in a virtual World Cup. With its commercial launch for the SEA region slated for the second half of 2008, GONG! kicks off dme’s plan to release several new exciting titles for this year.
“GONG! is really big in China, and now, we are excited to be launching the game soon across the SEA region,” said Steven Coleman, dme’s vice president for publishing. “I think the people are ready now for something this fun, and crazy.” mobiusgames is a pioneer in publishing games across the region.
GONG! is unique in the market of MMO games for its ease of play, cute visuals, quick pace, and its interesting, quirky gameplay. It is relaxingly casual, but intensely competitive, and it is a social game that allows for a wide array of avatar personalization.
Speaking of late, I haven’t tried GONG! yet. For more information about the game, visit its website.
