LineKong ups ante with five new games
Not to be outdone by bigger, older and more experienced MMO developers and publishers at last week’s ChinaJoy 2008, LineKong has bared plans to launch five new games within the year. In a speech at what is probably China’s biggest video gaming event, LineKong chief executive officer Wang Feng introduced three new online games: self-developed Blooded Westward Journey, Warrior King, and Super Adventurer.
Let’s take a closer look at the games LineKong has in store for us:
The Legend of Kung-Fu
Legend of Kung-Fu is the first turn-based kung-fu online game in China. The game is based on the kung-fu novels written by Louis Cha and covers hundreds of classic characters in the novels.
Hero
Hero is the first realistic turn-based online game with historical theme in China. The game originated from Chinese culture and historical materials collected over thousands of years.
Blooded Westward Journey
Blooded Westward Journey is the first online game independently developed by LineKong. It’s also the first realistic online game using and remaining faithful to the theme of Journey to the West.
Warrior King
Warrior King is a large online game about magic fantasy war. It’s the second independently developed online game by LineKong. Warrior King is an online game adaptation of the super hit novel of the same name.
Super Adventurer
Super Adventurer is a casual online game developed by LineKong. The game is set in the era of The Great Discoveries of Geography. Its main features are stage breaking and treasure hunting.
